Text Find & Replace Tool
Text Find & Replace is an efficient text-processing tool that finds specific content in any text and replaces it in one batch. Paste your original text, enter the find and replace strings, then press Confirm — everything runs locally and privately. It features live preview: matches are highlighted with the theme color while searching; when replacing, removed text is struck through in red and inserted text is shown in blue, so changes are clear at a glance. Advanced options include ignore case (on by default), match whole words only, and regular expressions (opt-in), covering copy editing, coding, data cleaning and content tidying. The result panel shows the processed text with its character count, ready to copy in one click or download as an image with the brand footer. Every confirm is saved to local history (up to 10 entries) with per-entry copy, per-entry delete and clear-all for easy review. Clean and beautiful UI with light/dark themes and 12 languages — a handy little helper for everyday text work.

What is it
Find & replace locates every piece of text that matches your search and swaps it for new content. Type the original text and the search string, and the tool pinpoints and highlights every match. Fill in the replacement, and the old text is struck through in red while the new text appears in blue. Ignore case treats A and a as equal, whole word only replaces standalone words, and regex mode unlocks complex patterns.
Notes & fun facts
Repeated mistakes in long documents are a headache. Operators hand-fix old links one by one, developers hunt the same error code through logs, editors rename an outdated term across a manuscript. Find & replace turns hours of scrolling into a single click — with the red and blue marks making every change unmistakable.
Origin & history
Find & replace grew out of printing and proofreading: typesetters matched type letter by letter, while proofreaders circled errors in red and marked corrections in blue. Electronic text made the process instant — the red strikethrough and blue insert in this tool are the digital heirs of that tradition.
