Focus Timer — Deep Work Countdown
A clean focus timer for deep work: pick a 25 / 45 / 90 minute session (or set your own), press start and work without distractions. The ring shows progress, sessions that finish are recorded in your local history, and a gentle tone lets you know the session is over.
Focus tips
- Pick one single task before starting — no multitasking.
- Keep your phone in another room during the session.
- After a long session, take a 5–10 minute real break.
Finished sessions will appear here.

What is it
Deep work needs a boundary: a visible countdown that says "for the next 25 minutes, nothing else". Start the timer, give one thing your full attention, and let the ring do the rest.
Notes & fun facts
Attention is the most valuable thing you own. A timer is a promise to yourself: for these few minutes, this task gets all of it.
Origin & history
The focused timer traces its roots to the Pomodoro Technique: in the late 1980s, Italian Francesco Cirillo used a tomato-shaped kitchen timer to manage study time in 25-minute sprints with 5-minute breaks, naming it “Pomodoro” (Italian for “tomato”). The pattern of alternating short focus sessions has since been widely adopted for productivity and inspired a whole family of countdown- and interval-based time-management tools.
